Responsibilities of the ServiceNow developer
- Create ServiceNow solutions for an organization using JavaScript, Web Services, MYSQL, and CSS
- Develop and troubleshoot ServiceNow applications
- Integrate ServiceNow applications with other programs
- Analyze technical development requirements
- Provide documentation and reports of the analyses
- Identify any deficiencies within the applications and provide solutions for them
- Deploy solutions in a test environment
- Analyze system performance issues
- Provide expertise for all technical issues related to development
- Configure and create custom workflows
- Perform code reviews to ensure that the quality standards are being met
Competencies/Skill-Sets required:
- The ServiceNow developers will have extensive knowledge of the ServiceNow platform as well as technologies such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS, MYSQL, and SQL.
- The ServiceNow developer will have experience in API integrations with other systems and have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- The ServiceNow developer will also have experience with the development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, etc.
- The ServiceNow developer will have strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, mathematical, and analytical skills and are able to communicate effectively - both orally and in writing.
