Detailed Job Description:

Required:

• 5 - 7 years of IT experience in IBM WebSphere DataPower.
• Experience in Web Services technologies likeSOAP, WSDL, REST and SOA.
• ITX experience preferred but not required.
• Web technology experience in XSLT, XML, JSON, and XSD.
• Apigee knowledgehelpful but not required.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Use ofSOAPUI, POSTMAN, SVNor equivalent software.

Preferred:

• Previous experience working on health care preferred but not required.

Knowledge:

• General knowledge of Health Care industry
• Knowledge and capabilities in use of mainframe applications programming and file utilities
• Knowledge of claim or membership data and applications
• Extensive working knowledge of the NPS or similar base platform (NPS/TPS)
• Demonstrates understanding in multiple functional areas, and the information technology associated with those areas.
• Knowledge of NASCO software development standards, coding standards and best practices
• Specific system and product knowledge depending on the assignment
• Working knowledge of business software applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively when dealing with internal and external customers and suppliers both in writing and verbally
• Very strong conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills are critical
• Excellent time management skills in supporting a variety of projects in addition to an understanding of the ways in which information technology can be applied within the enterprise.
• Proficient in all phases of system development life cycles and knowledgeable of disciplined project management methodologies.
