Detailed Job Description:
Patching and Maintenance:
- Co-ordinate with customer network and platform teams on Globalscape server patching activities(on a weekly and monthly basis)
- Perform pre & post patching activities and validation
- Daylight savings activities
- Administer Electronic File Transfer Program using GlobalScape EFT, DMZ gateway and Business Activity Monitoring and Web Portal tools.
- Runtime Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning
- Certificate Management
- Ensure the security of file transfers utilizing protocols such as HTTPS, FTPS, SFTP, AS2
- Flexibility to work on Weekend to remediate P1/Critical INC
- Create Powershell Scripts for file transfers and utilities.
- Able to do performance tuning
- Resolve technical problems effectively and efficiently within defined SLA working with internal functional and software development teams, and external vendors to identify root causes and solutions.
- Log service requests with vendors and coordinate diagnostics, requested actions and testing with functional teams.
- Identify and implement system process improvements leveraging the software, best practices, automation, innovation and technology upgrades.
- Contribute to the creation of Support Design Specification and Support Supplement Documents.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting as required by the business.
- Adhere to Customer Solution Delivery Framework, Incident Management, and Change Management procedures.
- Lead or assist with day-to-day service delivery issues and processes as required.
- Work with project teams to understand the concepts and technical infrastructure of the to-be implemented modules/functionalities and create / document operations procedures.
- Ability to manage self-workload, set and meet customer expectations.
- Ensures effective shift handover.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
