Detailed Job Description:

Lead project estimator experience in construction (7+ years).
Experience with renewable energy and/or high voltage transmission projects.
Experience with capital expenditure (CapEx) (preferred).
Bachelors Degree (Engineering Mechanical; Civil; Electrical; Construction Science; Construction Management preferred) or Equivalent Experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare capital cost estimates.
Review designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives, when appropriate.
Coordinate with other departments, ensuring understanding of project objectives and efficient utilization of resources.
Review layouts, designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives, when appropriate.
Remain current with technology and industry evolution, assuring that capital estimates anticipate the correct market conditions.
Establish, build and implement metrics for cost and construction estimate checks.
Mentor and develop junior members of the team.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
