Job Duties:
- Support the implementation of the District of Columbia Access System (DCAS)
- Lead Oracle SOA Suite / Fusion Middleware architecture, development and platform support;
- Work closely with the SOA architect to ensure the district's system and network architecture to Implement Integration Solutions that comply with enterprise governance and standards;
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and development for the engineering team in leveraging the Oracle SOA Suite for new Applications and Integration solutions within the Government of the District of Columbia;
- Perform integrations with SOAP, Web Service Orchestration; and REST type web services;
- Administrate and configure Web Service Gateway and Enterprise Service Bus
- Develop various middleware components, including: BPEL, BAM, ESB, WSM, Rules Engine, Java and .NET application platforms.
- Work with analysts and representatives from the business to elaborate integration requirements.
- Work with architects and analysts to define integration designs.
- Develop / Implementing integration solution using Oracle SOA Suite 11g, OSB 11g, BPEL, Business Rules, Human Task, Mediator, WSM, and WebLogic Application Server10g
- Work with deployment teams to ensure code can be properly migrated to QA, pre-prod, and production environments
- Work with test team to debug, triage, and repair code defects
- Write integration documentation including, code review checklist, integration design document, deployment document.
- Contribute to team documentation, including design patterns, coding standards, and user guides
- Participate in daily stand-ups to report on progress of tasks and blocking issues as part of Agile Development Methodology
- Define WSDL for BPEL process, Partner Links, and developing business logic and created Events and time outs for the BPEL process activity.
- Use ANT & GIT for deploying the application migration scripts to various environments.
- Develop Centralized error handling was achieved by using a common error hospital that received the errors across BPEL, ESB and adapters.
- Develop fault policies and catch handlers for BPEL, ESB_ERROR topic for ESB and rejected Message Handlers that invoke a BPEL process for the adapters.
- Develop Communication channels through email; for critical errors.
- Develop integration Framework, BPEL & ESB coding conforming to customized framework.
- Product information download using BPEL from Oracle PIM to different OSS like One Siebel, B2B, and integrating the BPEL processes through ESB.
- Develop and integrating Java Code into BPEL process in migration of product data from different Applications to Oracle PIM.
- Develop modules that integrate with web services that provide global information support such as customer and account management.
Education: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
