Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and propose innovative solutions using ServiceNow platform capabilities.
  • Design and develop ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards to meet business needs and improve overall user experience.
  • Customize and configure the ServiceNow platform, including scripting, UI policies, client scripts, and ACLs.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems, utilizing APIs, web services, and middleware platforms.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, assisting them in solving complex technical challenges and promoting best practices.
  • Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and reliability of implemented solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, security, and infrastructure teams, to ensure smooth implementation and integration of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Utilize ITOM capabilities, including Discovery and Event Management, to enhance visibility and automation of IT operations processes.
  • Implement and configure Hardware Asset Management processes and workflows within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing processes and workflows.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide training to end users and stakeholders on ServiceNow functionalities and best practices.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of development methodologies, coding standards, and documentation practices to ensure the scalability and maintainability of the ServiceNow platform.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, including significant experience with ITOM, Discovery, and Hardware Asset Management.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, and CMDB.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs, with the ability to develop and customize ServiceNow components using these technologies.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integration methodologies, including web services, MID Server, and RESTful APIs.
  • In-depth understanding of ITIL processes and best practices, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions with a focus on ITOM, Discovery, and Hardware Asset Management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified ServiceNow Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist)
