Detailed Job Description:

• Prepares detailed design specifications for highly complex and large-sca= le systems in order to plan and facilitate system development and programmi= ng.
• Maintains assigned systems, responding to and resolving system problems = in order to ensure systems are continuously available and function properly= .
• Develops systems employing higher level languages such as 3 GLs, = 4 GLs, enterprise class application development tools, system utilit= ies, and project management tools in order to prepare systems for implement= ation.
• Diagnoses and isolates complex application software problems; formulates= and implements effective solutions considering system capacity, limitation= s, time requirements, and desired results in order to resolve system proble= ms and prevent reoccurrence.
• Designs and develops subroutines in support of system development effort= s in order to achieve maximum productivity.
• Performs difficult, complex, and specialized programming assignments in = order to ensure users and business needs are met.
