Detailed Job Description:

  • Participate in technical discussions with senior technologists across the firm to influence technical decisions and outcomes
  • Responsible to drive technical analysis and generate data points using large and complex data sets with minimal supervision in support of prevailing design patterns
  • Evaluate complex trade-offs for competing technical and business drivers and constraints to deliver an optimal solution in support of efficient and timely program execution
  • The candidate would be expected to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders both inside and outside the team to collaborate on planning and execution
  • Participates in the program routines e.g., program reviews, status review, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc
  • Plans and coordinates program delivery and dependencies across multiple value streams
  • Contribute to status updates for the program to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the desired outcomes, delivery, risks/issues, and schedule
  • Support efforts to measure the program success and reviews the metrics with stakeholders and leadership
  • Review and work with the business to obtain requirements. Then, determine impacts and translate into requirements for Dev teams.
  • Manage processes, improve methods and procedures. Locate and define new process improvement and automation opportunities and work with development partners to implement. Develop standards

Required Skills:

  • 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Finance Domain
  • Requirements gathering into Business Requirements Documents, wireframes, epic and story writing, flow diagrams, data mapping, test plans, use cases and scenarios
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, WIKI for requirements and SDLC, knowledge sharing and documentation of requirements, and issue tracking
  • Must possess analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience contributing to a portfolio of projects using Agile methodology (Scrum, sprint planning, burn down and velocity reporting, backlog prioritization, retrospectives)
  • Process Analysis, able to document process flows, assess and translate into requirements
  • Express ideas verbally and in writing to effectively communicate with and influence teammates, technology partners, business leaders and executives
  • Experience with installing and managing controls to mitigate risk
  • Has proven track record of preparing materials for all levels within the organization (practitioner through to senior leadership)
  • Ability to work with the stakeholders to understand the concerns, risks, and issues
  • Acting as a liaison between the business and its information (IT) department
  • Demonstrated passion for intellectual curiosity and accuracy as well as the ability to research issues and identify root cause and patterns.
  • Ability to progress with limited direction and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, running number of competing deliverables in parallel
  • Support governance and oversight processes for managing alignment of change to strategic goals
  • Must be a creative thinker, flexible and not be afraid to challenge status
