Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring team follows Agile values, principles and practices
- Build strong relationships with business divisions and departments across the company globally; build a trusting environment where issues are raised with an emphasis on correcting and problem-solving. Champions collaborative discussion, decision-making and problem-solving in support of assigned initiatives.
- Facilitates meetings and ensure Scrum events are held (Backlog refinement, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint, Sprint Review and Retrospective)
- Facilitate the completion of assignments efficiently and without dictating work.
- Ensure metrics are collected and leverage metrics to effectively facilitate meetings and process improvements
- Coach Product Owner and Development team to facilitate learning, development and adoption of Agile best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owner to prioritize, maintain product backlog and assist building Product Roadmap.
- Holds the team accountable and ensures the team understands and meets goals
- Facilitates conversation to create a plan to address process improvements
- Tracks and publishes progress towards goals / project execution
- Monitor budget and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Assist with internal and external communication to ensure transparency with the team, sponsors and stakeholders.
- Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Qualifications:
- Experience within the asset management or financial services industry with at least three years as a Scrum Master.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution and coaching skills.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.
