MUST HAVE SKILLS:

  • Program management experience (Agile and/or Waterfall) with success leading large complex initiatives.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Security, Business or Project Management, Information Systems, or related fields of study.
  • Drive and report to Senior Executives on program progression aspects including timelines, financials, risks, and outcomes
  • Create/frame program outcome messaging including status reports, decks, sprint plans, and more.
  • Partner with IT Portfolios to cross-functionally stakeholder manage and ensure delivery of committed outcomes
  • Technology familiarity with Cloud concepts, Cloud providers including AWS, and various tools adoption in the cloud environment.
  • Five or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools including G Suite, Smartsheets, and Jira
  • Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and working effectively with Managers and above.
  • Strong Program management experience (using Agile Methodologies) with a proven track record of results by leading large complex initiatives in the software development environment.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

Required Certifications

  • At least one, preferably more, Cloud Certification in AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.

Desired Education / Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar Project Management Certifications

Additional Technical Skills Required:

  • Experience in working on and deployments involving CICD pipelines
  • Experience in troubleshooting Cloud deployments, connectivity, identifying issues like networking and configuration issues

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience facilitating Cloud Modernization projects that leverage Orchestration & Automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and/or API-driven Web Development
  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Security, Business or Project Management, Information Systems or related fields of study.
  • Three or more years performing Program and Project Management involving initiatives with significant cross-functional dependencies.
  • Experience in managing internal SDLC teams, partners and vendors in delivering product development initiatives on time and on budget.
  • Demonstration of strong technical skills for software development and integration.
  • Experience and interest in current and future technologies.
  • Ability to own issues/risk decisions and manage on an ongoing basis.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to streamline processes and create efficiencies.
  • Proven ability to package and sell ideas to all levels of management and across organizations.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Support Application Teams in cloud migration and cloud tools integration by assisting them resolve various technical challenges that might arise.
  • Manage development projects leveraging a team of experienced Cloud Engineers and domain experts.
  • Partner with stakeholder organizations to align on delivery dates and project status.
  • Manage and mitigate risks to keep projects on track, including estimating time and prioritizing key results.
  • Function as an escalation point for various project leads or developers in order to own and drive issues to resolution.
  • Communicate key successes/wins and other significant project statuses during stand-ups, reviews, and retrospective calls.
  • Capture and report key metrics related to projects and present them to senior management.
  • Identify any stakeholder opportunities to streamline processes and create efficiencies.
  • Support leadership with executive reporting.
