Key Responsibilities:
- Guide business customers through business case development for new applications and functionality, including cost / benefit analysis and risk / impact analysis.
- Formulate and define systems scope and objectives through front-end analysis and research, combined with an excellent understanding of business systems, industry requirements, and available IT solutions.
- Analyze business strategy and user needs, document specifications, and translate business objectives into proper system requirement specifications.
- Deliver value through realization of benefits, identifying new opportunities and modernizing the organization.
- Create or modify procedures to solve complex problems.
- Work with the business and customer service teams to define product support procedures.
- Understand industry issues and trends and present technical solutions that enhance the value of our customers products and services.
- Ensure client IT Methodology and best practices are adhered to.
- Collaborate with other business analysts, technical staff, and management.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Basic Qualifications: (required)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent coordination skills, collaborating across IT teams to accomplish the application upgrade.
- Experience working with developers and quality assurance analysts in a team setting using Agile/Scrum methodologies, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria, analyzing test cases, and release prep and planning.
2+ years of business systems analyst experience to include:
- Formulating and defining system scope and objectives for assigned projects
- Gathering and preparing detailed system requirements and diagrams
- Creating and modifying procedures to solve complex issues
- Coordinating work across scrum teams
- Escalate and remove roadblocks presented from development team
