Essential Functions:

  • Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
  • Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices.
  • Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
  • Scheduling and facilitating scrumevents, meetings, and decision-making processes.
  • Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements.
  • Planning and organizing demos and product/system testing.
  • Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team.
  • Tracking project processes, deliverables, and financials.
  • Preparing and presenting status reports to upper management, stakeholders and/or, Customers.
  • Ensure quality of Scrum execution story cards definition of readiness and done, commitments on-time delivery. Ensure the quality of capabilities and user stories delivered with highest customers experience.
  • Works with Product Owner to ensure proper balance between features and high-quality working product.
  • Facilitates Release (Planning) Workshop
  • Coach the Scrum Team including the Product Owner on agile requirements, agile planning, backlog refinement, best practice, etc.
  • Updates teams activities in a project management tracking tool transparency of release vision
  • Promotes commonly accepted better Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Promotes transparency by ensuring that all Scrum events take place to facilitate opportunities to inspect and adapt
  • Coordinates among the Scrum Team and monitors adherence to Scrum practices
  • Keeps team focused on current Sprint goals (Big Visible Charts, standup focused)
  • Evaluates criteria for product and proposal analysis.

Deliverables:

  • Deliver programs and projects on schedule and on budget
  • Present projects at the Quality Checkpoints
  • Present projects at the Department Level Project Reviews

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban, JIRA to deliver solutions.
  • 8+ years of experience as a scrum master or in a similar role.
  • At least 8 years experience and significant hands-on Program and Project management experience from project initiation to implementation using formal project management methodologies and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders with evidence of willingness and ability to express and protect departmental interests.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strong analytical skills. Leadership and management experience.
  • Demonstrated effective communicator and writer, able to tailor message to receiving audience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience using MS Project Office Professional and MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Certifications CSM, SAFe 6 related

Preferred:

  • At least five years experience with project management of Information Security related projects.
  • At least five years experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project Server (EPM), etc.
  • Certifications: PMP and InfoSec - Security+, SSCP and/or CISSP
