Essential experience & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain the enterprises database systems.
• Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
• Perform technology Assessments, evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to make recommendations for technology adoption or retirement
• Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including diagrams, models, and technical specifications.
• Implement solutions that meet the needs and requirements of stakeholders.
• Design and architect database HA and DR solutions
• Experience with comparing and recommending the right database systems.
• Ensure the security and performance of the DB2 database systems.
• Stay up to date on the latest database technologies.
• Train and mentor other database professionals.
• Experience with database technologies.
• Experience with big data technologies.
• Experience with data warehousing and analytics.
• Experience with data security and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in database design, development, and maintenance.
• Experience in Linux and IBM DB2 is mandatory
• Experience with a variety of database technologies, such as Linux DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
