Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application failures and performance issues
- Support and maintain existing Jira Service Management application
- Design and implement new processes based on customer requirements
- Participate in platform vision development and continuous improvement by leveraging the latest industry knowledge and recommending design improvements
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Contribute to the internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies Qualifications:
- Extensive experience deploying, configuring, administering, and supporting Atlassian Jira and Jira Service Management (formerly Jira Service Desk)
- Solid understanding of the Jira back-end architecture
- Proven record of experience building extensions for Atlassian platform using Atlassian Plugin SDK
- at least one scripting language (Groovy, Python, etc.)
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail in your work
- Desire and ability to learn new technologies and provide mentorship for more junior members of the team
- Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and manage competing priorities
- Experience working with Insight, Insight Discovery, and ScriptRunner apps is preferred
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems is desirable
- U.S. Bachelor or higher degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a closely related field of study.
