Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application failures and performance issues
  • Support and maintain existing Jira Service Management application
  • Design and implement new processes based on customer requirements
  • Participate in platform vision development and continuous improvement by leveraging the latest industry knowledge and recommending design improvements
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
  • Contribute to the internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience deploying, configuring, administering, and supporting Atlassian Jira and Jira Service Management (formerly Jira Service Desk)
  • Solid understanding of the Jira back-end architecture
  • Proven record of experience building extensions for Atlassian platform using Atlassian Plugin SDK
  • at least one scripting language (Groovy, Python, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail in your work
  • Desire and ability to learn new technologies and provide mentorship for more junior members of the team
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and manage competing priorities
  • Experience working with Insight, Insight Discovery, and ScriptRunner apps is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems is desirable
  • U.S. Bachelor or higher degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a closely related field of study.
