Must haves:

  • 5+ Years Oracle Lead or Consultant experience from a large enterprise environment implementing/assessing Oracle Cloud Financials
  • BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or a related field. Masters degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years working experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle EBS/R12
  • Required: Technofunctional experience with configurations involving GL, AP, AR, FA modules and functionality
  • Hand on experience/Understanding of what Oracle can do, ability to prepare test script, how integrations and modifications work etc.
  • PL/SQL development or building reports/customizations/extensions depending on what they have
  • Experience in leading business analysis, requirements gathering, and support experience in an Information Technology department supporting internal and external project assignments.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in an applications environment including Developers, DBAs, QA testers/analysts, Project Managers and executive team members.
  • Proven ability to develop, document and maintain operational policies and procedures; including the design and documentation of detailed process flows.
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and participation in multiple projects.
  • Ability to communicate with the business, work with the development team and coordinate between the 2 teams
  • Experience with strategy focus for an Oracle team over technical skills

Key Job Responsibilities:

Analysis and Documentation

  • Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems.
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders regarding the status of current issues, in - flight projects and future requirements related to Oracle AR, AP, and GL.
  • Collaborate with internal customers, including Finance, Procurement, and field operations, to identify and maximize opportunities to improve product, service and business processes within the AR/AP/GL/FA areas.
  • Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
  • Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements, enhancements, and issues.
  • Review, analyze, and create detailed documentation of user needs and business systems, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify business processes.
  • Assist in the development process for all approved versions of business and functional specifications in the AR/AP/GL/FA areas.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure continuing operational quality by documenting system bug fixes and enhancements, assigning tasks to developers, testing, and releasing updates.
  • Coordinate cross functional groups to test, evaluate and validate new functions and applications, and identify issues in software or services.

Project Management

  • Provide project leadership across organizational or geographical boundaries.
  • Create project plan and deliverable definition.
  • Manage and report project execution (e.g., budget, change control, issue and risk management, stakeholder management, status, etc.)

People Development

  • Lead and manage the productivity and output of on-shore/off-shore Oracle consultants.
  • Model and reinforce a positive working environment centered on company values for both onshore and offshore team members.
