Job Duties:

• Develop and maintain ETL (Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading) mappings using Informatica Designer 8+ to extract the data from multiple source systems that comprise databases like Oracle, SQL Server, flat files to the Staging area and then to the Data Marts. 
• Create mappings using different look-ups like connected, unconnected and Dynamic look-up with different caches such as persistent cache. 
• Perform impact analysis of the changes done to the existing mappings and SQL and provide understandable feedback. 
• Create mappings using reusable components like worklets, mapplets using other reusable transformations. 
• Document code. 
• Demonstrate a strong understanding and coding ability in SQL. 
• Work together on regular releases to push workgroups/Informatica code and SQL to production; need to be able to understand typical deployment concepts and processes (i.e. change control). 
• Possess strong analytical and communication skills with a knack for learning and understanding business scenarios. 
• Have the ability to work both as a team player and individually. 
• Participate in providing the project estimates for development efforts. 
• Demonstrate a solid work ethic with accountability and awareness to deliver on time and accurate; yet still be able to enjoy time spent on the job. 

Education: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above occupation duties is a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in MIS, IT, Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
