Core Responsibilities:

Agile Coaching and Facilitation:

  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks, primarily Scrum, and foster an understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand - ups, and sprint reviews.
  • Encourage team collaboration and self-organization to achieve high performance.

Obstacle Removal:

  • Actively identify and remove obstacles or guide the team to do so, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions to maintain focus on project goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work with Product Owners to maximize product value and ensure that the team understands the backlog items.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the development team and stakeholders.
  • Ensure transparency in the teams work and progress through appropriate channels and tools.

Process Improvement and Adaptation:

  • Continuously seek and introduce new practices and tools to increase team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Adapt processes and practices as per team and project needs, ensuring adherence to Agile values.

Team Building and Support:

  • Support and promote team building and collaboration.
  • Help the team to create high-value products by ensuring that quality practices are followed.

Reporting and Metrics:

  • Monitor and report on team progress and Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, sprint burndown).
  • Use metrics to identify areas of improvement and guide team efforts accordingly.

Training and Mentoring:

  • Provide ongoing training and mentoring to team members on Agile and Scrum practices.
  • Promote a learning culture within the team and the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role facilitating Agile teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum and other Agile frameworks and practices.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with the ServiceNow platform is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) is beneficial.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is highly desirable.
  • Skills in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
