Sr. .net software developer, ASP.net MVC, Web API, JQuery, KnockoutJS,  Github

Our client has an opening for a .NET Software Developer based in Tysons Corner, VA. The Software Developer will support their Core API team that provides central repository and service integration endpoints for many Digital applications. We are responsible for the core architecture of 100 highly visible web sites and applications. We are seeking a Senior Developer to be part of the product development team, with a special focus on .NET development. 

The successful candidate will work in a fast -paced environment and have the following: 
• Bachelor Degree in a technical field • Minimum 5 years’ experience. 
• Must have shipped multiple projects/products into production Specialized Experience. 
• Advanced to expert level knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API. 
• Advanced to expert level knowledge of JavaScript, and frameworks like jquery, angular.js (or MVC comparable). 
• Experience in creating or consuming REST API. 
• Experience in TDD / automated unit testing. 
• Strong knowledge of writing quality code. 
• Strong knowledge of Object oriented design and S.O.L.I.D principles. 
• Working experience using Scrum (or similar agile methodology). 
• Experience with Github and Jira. 
• Passionate about developing quality software in a timely manner.
