Job Duties:

  • Process laptop and accessories shipment requests received through email and trackers on daily basis. 
  • Update the necessary tracker accurately with asset details, tracking number etc. on the central tracker every day after the shipment. 
  • Image the laptops as per the checklist and instructions, clean, pack and prepare for shipment. 
  • Compliance Assurance- Perform verification on each laptop post imaging to ensure that all steps are performed successfully as per the checklist. 
  • Perform basichardware fixing / replacement with the available parts like bezel,screen, keyboard, and other hardware to make sure that laptop is in good shape and no damages. 
  • Connect with hardwarevendor for any warranty relatedsupport and get it fixed. 
  • Scan, Create Asset Tags using the printer and affix on each laptop referencing Asset Management Database 
  • Organize the imagingarea in a professional way, keep the trash in the designated areas only. 
  • Report anything which can affectthe everyday work to the manager in advance to avoid any business impact. 
  • Prepare USB images of OS using the designated station and process for shipment. 
  • Participate as a team to move the assetswithin the companypremises, different storerooms etc. 
  • Handle all the assets with utmost care to avoid any kind of damagewhile handling. 
  • Receive assets returns from employees, recordeach asset detailsin the inbound register, move to designated storerooms, organize, clean up the packaging debris etc. in the designatedarea 
  • Co-ordinate with offshore Resource Executive team for providing necessary assetsrelated details, reportgeneration etc. 
  • Generate shipment labels andprovide instructions to employees on shipping assets back to company, basedon the requests received through internalticketing system. 
  • Connect with shipment vendorin case of any packagetracking, delivery. pickup,claim etc. and ensure the process is completed. 

Education: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above occupation duties is a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in MIS, IT, Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
