JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine the data requirements, and design/develop data visualization deliverables.
  • Develop, and maintain reports, dashboards and visualizations to effectively  communicate data driven insights to users for a variety of audiences e.g. visualization solutions of data into reports and graphics to illustrate facts, trends, and insights.
  • Work with business users and analysts to help identify data trends, and patterns within large, complex data sets.
  • Prototype and develop advanced data-driven visualization components and interfaces that can be easily consumed by internal users as well as external customers and injured workers
  • Research modern visualization and data access tools, evaluate fit for needs of the organization, facilitate, promote adoption among self service business users.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing by addressing any technical queries or fixing the bug.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of previous experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or business analyst.
  • Azure, Synapse, PowerBI (Microsoft) technology and infrastructure experience.
  • Strong SQL skills, and ability to identify issues with data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering valuable data-driven insights.
  • Experience in data management disciplines including data integration, modeling, optimization and data quality, and/or other areas directly relevant to data engineering responsibilities and tasks.
  • Experience with machine learning, with statistical modeling, time-series forecasting and/or geospatial analytics is preferred.
  • Recommend, develop and implement best practices for reporting, analytics, and generation of key metrics needed to report on the productivity and business performance.
