Job Duties:
- Candidate should have hands on experience in Capital market knowledge with variety asset class like Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, ABS and MBS (Good to have Bank loans and OTC derivatives)
- Should possess conceptual knowledge on fund accounting, portfolio valuation. Market reference data & Corporate actions
- Data reconciliation post migration/Conversion, details analysis on recon Breaks
- Work with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document, and communicate the data conversion requirements.
- Performing conversion and testing of static data and transaction data from one core system to another.
- Data cleaning, Data scrubbing and Data consistency check (Pre checks)
- Performing source system data analysis, to manage source to target data mapping on large volume data.
- Provide support to Client and Business team on any issues faced, researching and resolving any issues related to processing of transactions.
- Work with Institutional Investment Managers and the Business team to understand the requirements and prepare functional specification document.
- Participate in solution design by evaluating middle and back office systems, Business processes, functions and services supported at Northern Trust.
- Responsible for coordinating and leading client implementation kick off calls.
- Responsible for the related setups and configurations of various applications, for the smooth flow of transactions to downstream applications.
- Coordinate with development team for code deployment to production and ensure all the setups are completed before the client goes live.
- Prepare Test cases for the requirements and perform testing in development, integration and unit testing phases.
- Facilitate and support the releases for ongoing enhancements of internal proprietary application.
- Collaborate with business owners and product manager to determine the business needs and create BRD and FSD for project team.
- Lead and facilitate requirements sessions with various stakeholders and continuously deliver results through collaboration.
- Analysis of attributes of all asset classes like Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income (Bonds), Bank Loans, Repos and FX with an objective to optimize the requirements
- Gather all relevant information and analyze data using SQL, before drawing conclusions, making decisions or suggesting possible technology solutions.
- Lead cross functional teams by liaising between business partners, product managers and technology teams in creation of features, stories and acceptance criteria, supporting the timely implementation of initiates.
- Analyze impacted products and processes for gaps (AS-IS and TO-BE) and identify innovative solutions that balance timelines, scope and complexity.
Education: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
