Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related fieldAdditional 5+ years of IT experience that includes IT Analytics, IT Trouble shooting, or IT Customer Service may be considered in lieu of Bachelors Degree
  • Min 5 years of relevant technical and business work experience
  • Requires experience / knowledge of system requirements, operations and programming / development processes
  • Manage Instance Security, User/Group access, roles and associated relationships, and Access Control Lists (ACLs)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 years experience on the ServiceNow platform
  • Configuration and modification of the ServiceNow platform in the following areas IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), Intelligent Apps, HR Service Delivery, Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM)
  • Familiarity with the User Experience Tools, Service Intelligence, and Service Experiences
  • Knowledge and Experience working with Web Services, SOAP, REST, JSONv2
  • Reporting would be helpful.

Detailed Description:

  • Manage and resolve issues against ServiceNow applications
  • Advise internal teams and lines of business regarding process and technology inefficiencies within the platform
  • Manage Instance Security, User/Group access, roles and associated relationships, and Access Control Lists (ACLs)
  • Provide training and knowledge across the platform to our internal team and external business partners
  • Develop reporting strategy and maintenance plan for platform wide reporting
  • Strong knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Perform routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/ remediation
  • Maintain and improve the overall stability of the platform ensuring best practices are identified and incorporated into the platform
  • Experience with ServiceNow best practices and understand the best solutions to remediate technical debt in the Now platform
