Job Duties:

• Develop performance test plans and strategies in collaboration with the software development team.
• Develop and obtain performance testing tools and frameworks, and implement test software for acceptance.
• Conduct exploratory testing and acceptance of new features/releases.
• Create or utilize scripts that have been written in performance testing (PT) tools like JMeter.
• Develop complex scenarios with a mix of transactions and distribution across components.
• Run performance tests in/from a cloud and against applications in the cloud.
• Work closely with the software development team to gather requirements and feedback.
• Participate and present results in project meetings, retrospectives, and demos.
• Analyze and profile performance issues with AppDynamics.
• Monitor memory stacks and CPU utilization on application and database servers.
• Investigate performance problems on various levels (application/database/network/infrastructure), understanding how to drill down the problem, and corresponding approaches and tools.
• Coordinate with the Core Application Development, Business Unit, Database, Middleware, and Operations teams to identify performance improvement areas and promote the resolution of issues resulting from test execution and analysis efforts.

Education: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
