Complete Description:
Seeking contractual support to assist with Enabling Excellence in Delaware State Government through IT initiatives. This position is central to the delivery of IT services to numerous Delaware state entities, and thereby to the citizens of Delaware. DTI is an innovative agency seeking individuals that are fast learners with excellent communication and problem solving skills, and able to work with minimal supervision as part of a multidisciplinary team. Principal responsibilities include the planning, requirements, design, coding, testing, debugging, system integration, and documenting of software components of complex, multi-tier government systems.
Years of Relevant Experience: 8 plus years
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study with advanced study preferred.
Role Description:
This is a programming position that requires technical aptitude in full lifecycle development in C# and ASP.NET. They must be a fast learner with excellent communication and problem solving skills, and able to work with minimal supervision as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position is a Sr. developer and will be require at times to mentor junor staff on industry best practices.
This consultant should have extensive experience commensurate with ADVANCED technical capabilities in development of new systems and applications. A qualified candidate will have prior experience with Webservices and Database design as an application programmer. Secure development practices to protect against intrusion is highly desired, almost required.
