Complete Description:
The IT Consultant will work for the IT Strategic Investments Services (SIS) team supporting the design, development, and maintenance of the procurement and performance management dashboards using business intelligence and/or discovery tool that will improve transparency, accountability and lower cost of government operations. This new initiative in FY2014 will transform how government uses financial and performance management data. End users will have access to data that is presented in context so optimal decisions can be made by transforming data into strategic business goal while monitoring progress throughout the fiscal year.
The consultant will also work with other teams at the Applications division to develop and implement the above dashboards as well as other assigned dashboards, databases and applications. For the first couple dashboard projects, the consultant will work with the Business Discovery tool called QlikView. The candidate must have experience in creating data models, designing and developing the User Interface with QlikView as well as a strong SQL knowledge background with some experience with .Net development.
Extension of performance period is a strong possibility.
