Short Description:
The Tester will be responsible for testing the Medicare Eligibility System that will consist of mainframe to web interface testing.
Complete Description:
The resource will really need to interpret the business requirements and determine what test scripts to write and execute. Business requirements are written in Excel, defect tracking with be documented in SharePoint.
Experience with Medicare claims is not really relevant as we are more interested in the business rules to determine eligibility. Technical experience is lighter than the business requirement. They will need to know how to use TSO & File Aid to view the test results. This resource will partner with a technical resource to run the required test files to view the results.
Business knowledge with the ability to write test scripts is key
Next would be previous state government experience
Then any experience working with business rules to determine program eligibility.
