Experienced business analyst with experience in:
· Television linear ad sales and broadcast scheduling desired
· Database management systems analysis (preferably Oracle) and SQL
· Ability to translate ad sales and broadcast scheduling user needs into software application and database terminology, working with end users, application developers, and database administrators
Responsibilities:
· Manage IBMS background tasks (run queries, background jobs and reports, monitor system usage parameters) using PL/SQL or Toad
· Investigate and manage application configuration
· Manage application security rights; create new users and archive deactivated accounts
· Troubleshoot user issues, including access, functionality, reporting
· Assist users in accessing and updating specific data and performing nonstandard tasks
· Document user process and functions and develop training guides
· Support the application release process, including application configuration and functional testing
· Research and analyze the impact of new features and process changes on system health; develop test plans for new features
