* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering with a minimum of 10+ years of overall experience in support of information technology computer systems and databases.
* Must have 7+ years plus of database development experience with (Oracle and/or Timesten). 
* At least 5+ years experience working with large databases. 
* At least 1 year of application development experience in Java and J2EE.
* Analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and tuning of database components, Oracle 11G or higher
* Productively work in Linux environment.
* Expert on sybase designer.
* Excellent SQL skills and demonstrated ability to write complex SQL for purposes of analyzing data and/or evaluating how information needs might be translated into back end database structures.
* Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
* Proficiency in data warehouse design, SQL tuning, data modeling, reporting, and ETL processes.
* Strong experience with modifying/deploying physical database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, packages etc..) in development environment.
* Ability to write clear documentation of procedures, and ability to write specifications for data models to be developed.
