Position Description:

·         Candidate must have knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau server and have proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions.

·         Candidate will be working with internal team and developing complex dashboards in Tableau.  

Primary responsibilities include:

·         Build dashboards, automated reports and report templates using advanced Tableau functions.

·         Provide guidance insight on data visualization and Tableau dashboard design best practices.

·         Ability to support multi environment Tableau infrastructure including server security troubleshooting and general system maintenance.

·         Refine and enhance the technical architecture to keep pace with changing business demands and new Tableau software releases.

·         Analyze, troubleshoot and tune product performance or deployment issues.

·         Define best practices during implementation and integration of Tableau.

·         Working with Tableau dashboards deployed on web server.

·         Working knowledge of using SQL Oracle and SQL Server.

Required skills:

·         Tableau Developer

·         Tableau Web Server

·         Oracle

·         MS SQL Server

·         Report writing

·         Java, MS Excel, MS Access

·         Understanding of business/semantic layers.

·         Ability to multitask since efforts will be focused on numerous initiatives and tasks

Ability to articulate depth and breadth of expertise in the following:

·         Tableau analytical thinking, communication for results, conceptual thinking, information seeking, initiative, openness to learning, results orientation, thoroughness, understanding environment.

·         Performance tuning experience related to reporting queries

·         Experience leading requirement analysis and design sessions
