DHS seeks an IT Consultant to provide performance enhancements and optimization for our Customer Assessment, Tracking and Case History (CATCH) system. CATCH is Microsoft .Net 2010 C# application with a SQL server backend.
DHS is in its third year of operating the CATCH application. Initially the application had very few database records and the performance was adequate. There are now hundreds of thousands of rows and the current stored procedures and queries are very slow and inefficient. The resource obtained through this procurement will analyze the database and application for inefficiencies and identify areas for improvement. Analysis includes but not limited to batch and real time stored procedures, views, application database queries, indexes, functions, reports and overall architecture. The resource will provide resolutions to meet predetermined performance requirement as well as address all issues discovered during the analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area
• Microsoft certifications are a plus
