Primary: 
The Automated Tester will be responsible for: 
- Applying business and functional knowledge to meet the test teams overall test objectives. 
- The tester should have experience with the Rational Automated Tester tool. 
- The tester will work to create automated test scripts, build the scripts within the automated testing tool, and create script repositories to achieve the automated testing goals. 
- Develops an expertise in the testing principles, processes and methods as defined in the methodology framework and provides that expertise to other Testers. 
- The tester is also responsible for ensuring that the standards, guidelines, and methodology are applied as specified in the testing approach, and that all testing results are easily accessible and understandable. 
- May perform defect coordination functions, ensuring that test defects are tracked to closure and that the defect repository is kept up-to-date with the current status. 
- Utilize detailed knowledge of the ongoing testing effort to assist the test team lead in determining effective team work assignments. 
- Identify and suggest process improvements that improve the effectiveness of the testing effort. 
- Assist in the creation of test team metrics and status report for the project leadership and the client, as required. 
- Capture and share knowledge that may be useful to the team, project, and Accenture. 
- Adhere to detailed team work plans. 
- Work collaboratively with teammates across all project teams. 
- Identify all risks and issues to team lead along with possible mitigation steps. 
- Complete a weekly status report on time. 
- Reports to Functional Team Lead. 

Other Features (e.g., traveling, shift hours, etc.): 
Travel once a month to Dayton, OH will be required; with pre-approved Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) expenses reimbursed separately. 

Qualifications / Required Skills: 

- Oracle 11i Financials Implementation experience 4 years including Oracle EBS configuration. 
- 5 years + experience working with Air Force or DoD Financial Processes (especially Accounting and Finance, but also Budgeting and Funding). 
Preferred: 
- Application Testing 2 years in Oracle11i Financials environment. 
- 2 years experience with the Rational Automated Tester tool.
