Qualified candidate will provide senior-level data
analysis support of the Agency's Management Information (MI) and Business
Intelligence (BI) data for highly visible project. This candidate will
assist with performing data analysis, validation, and verification of vendor
and customer provided data. Candidate must have strong analytical
skills, be a team player and exhibit strong oral and written communication
skills. Candidate must be accustomed to working in a fast-paced and dynamic
environment with limited supervision. Provide expert recommendations, guidance
and best practices to team and customer.
Skills Requirements:
Required Skills
·Solid understanding of Relational database management system (RDBMS) concepts.
·Experience with relational database design and development.
·Expert proficiency in using analytical tools and instruments - Excel/Microsoft
Access.
·Ability to understand and develop ETL scripts in support of Data Conversion
and Business Intelligence Solutions.
·Experience preparing reports that compile the data into simple and
understandable formats/reports for team and customer.
·Ability to perform Unit Testing and Quality Assurance checks of developed
scripts and reports.
·Participate in Business intelligence design discussions and identify reports
needed.
·Perform analysis of issues raised from constructed scripts and reports.
·Ability to create detailed functional requirements derived business needs.
·Experience writing technical documentation.
Desired Skills
·Knowledge of MI/BI OLAP tools - current and emerging.
·Experience with Federal Contracting.
·Experience with the Social Security Administration (SSA).
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related
discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 11 years or more
of professional experience; or 9 years of professional experience with a
related Master's degree.
