Seeking Business Analyst/Security Analyst with a large national account in Folsom, CA.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant Business Analyst / Security Analyst experience.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical staff.
- Must have strong knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Visio.
- Proven ability to document standards, policies, and procedures including ability to maintain complex documentation and recommend improvements.
- Experience creating and maintaining project management deliverables for IT infrastructure and/or security projects.
- Ability to clearly document scope, requirements, and other planning documentation is especially relevant.
- Strong data analysis skills including strong knowledge of MS Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems using best practices and systematic approach.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage competing work assignments in a time sensitive environment.
- Experience with all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Preferred:
- Experience working with data encryption technologies.
- Experience working in an environment subject to formal compliance or regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, FISMA, ISO 27001, etc.
- Working knowledge of defense-in-depth strategies (Such as perimeter technologies e.g., firewalls, proxies, NIDS).
- Knowledge of NIST family of security controls.
- Experience applying, analyzing and assessing information systems and security controls (SP 800-53 Rev 4).
- Experience with IT infrastructure projects, especially those related to networks, server provisioning, storage management, disaster recovery, etc.
- Security-related certifications such as Security+ or CISSP.
- Active Directory skills
- Windows and/or Linux System Administrator skills.
