We are searching for a Portfolio and Risk Management Software Developer - Java for a  contract assignment with one of our premier financial industry clients in Baltimore, MD. Must have strong knowledge and working experience in at least one of the following: Perl, Java, C++, C#. The candidate should expect to work in all of the above technologies, and be able to pick up new ones rapidly. Relational database skills are required, as is general knowledge and proficiency in a unix environment. Knowledge in data management, risk analytics, trading and pricing computing, and experience with loan or mortgage systems, are also desired.  

Required Skills:                      

Knowledge of at least one of: Perl , C++, Java or C#

Strong relational database skills

Knowledge of unix environment

Strong software design / OO skills

Desired Skills:

Understanding of retail banking products

Windows development experience
