Deploy – Install and configure solutions in the field through a well-defined project timeline.

Qualifications:

·         Degrees in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.

·         Minimum 3 years Solaris 10 (SPARC and x86) experience.

·         Experience installing the Solaris Operating system from DVD and from a JumpStart/AI server.

·         Experience installing Redhat Linux.

·         Experience creating RAID volumes using LSI Hardware RAID Controllers.

·         Knowledge of Oracle 11g Automatic Storage Management and how to prepare raw disk volumes for its use.

·         Experience working with ZFS, IPMP, Solaris 11, Oracle VM (LDoms).

·         Ability to create custom shell scripts is desired, but not mandatory.

·         Experience working with Oracle Exadata Database Machine desired, but not mandatory.

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written as this individual will be required to interface with internal and external customers.

·         Requires good time management skills and the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks in a very fast-paced environment.

·         Experience with team-oriented projects as both a participant and a leader.
