This position will be focusing more on the results from the vulnerability assessment and addressing the associated issues.
Complete Description:
Will performs all roles of a Desktop Support staff. this person will be taking results from several systems and then work down the list to improve IDR vulnerability scores
This position responds to help desk tickets, works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software, ensures desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers and administrative systems, builds and configures new user workstation equipment set (PC, desktop image, phone, peripherals, software, user accounts), and troubleshoots basic network, software, and printing problems.
This position will be working with Information Security Office staff, Desktop, Network and Server teams in helping agencies reduce system misconfigurations, vulnerabilities and other security issues.

Some work may be required outside of M-F (7 to 5), not to exceed a 40 hour work week
More than 5 years of relevant experience and preferred education of 2 year degree or equivalent technical study
