Required

·         5-7 years of SQL BI software development experience

·         Working as part of a software development team to design and implement advanced healthcare applications and end-user data analytics tools

·         Participating in all phases of an Agile development process, including preparation of technical specifications, creation of design mockups/prototypes, and active participation in design, code, and test reviews.

·         Strong experience with database topics, esp. in SQL Server:

1.      Schema design and optimization

2.      Creation of complex SQL queries

3.      Query performance analysis and optimization

4.      ETL processing

5.      Analytics tools

·         Experience with BI software and data visualization tools

·         Experience creating web applications, preferably with .NET/C#

·         Candidate must have the ability to create user front screens to pull from databases.

·         Develop/fix front-end webpages that will interact with a SQL database to pull matching information.

·         Experience with Data warehousing/Data mart

·         Must have the ability to take requirements and turn to code quickly.

·         Working knowledge of aggregating data from separate systems and combine to single database.

·         Candidate must have strong knowledge with working on SQL Version 2012

·         Candidate must have strong skills with SQL SSIS and SSRS

·         Heavy experience on data extraction

·         Some DBA knowledge is required to check DBs for errors

Experience with predictive analytics

Experience with Cerner MPages and/or Cerner CCL

Qualifications/ Requirements

·         B.S.  in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline

5-7 years of software development experience

Work primarily from home (equipment and software supplied by the company) with frequent teleconferences and Web-based meetings, along with regular meetings at Northbrook, IL. Must be located in the greater Chicago metropolitan area and have transportation to our offices in Northbrook for periodic meetings.
