Complete Description:
The contractor primary responsibilities include ability to independently work with users to define specifications for system development, system analysis and design, programming, resolve system problems, and apply customizations to programs and objects included in Tax updates and Maintenance packs. This requires experience using PeopleTools 8.51/8.53, Application Designer, People Code, SQR/SQL, Application Engine, Application Package and COBOL in a UNIX/Oracle environment.
The Office of Pensions is simultaneously maintaining the PeopleSoft production environment with active workload including legislative mandated changes while upgrading the PeopleSoft environment from Version 9.0 to 9.2.
Knowledge of Human Resource, Payroll, Pension and accounting terminology is essential to performing these duties.
Years of Relevant Experience: 3 to 5 years
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study.
