Position Summary:
The Principal PeopleSoft Application Developer will be a key member the HR
Systems team. Your primary role will be application development and
configuration of a Global PeopleSoft 9.2 installation. In particular, we are
looking for candidates with strong PeopleSoft Payroll experience including
Payroll Interfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Handles the systems development life cycle on development and enhancement projects
- Assists with project planning, definition, requirements and time & resource estimates
- Discuss and document how proposed changes to the system will affect business process or other involved systems
- Document all modifications and be able to maintain systems level documentation
- Responsible for helping to develop and maintain departmental systems standards
- Support the system when required by troubleshooting issues along with analysts
- Must be able to mentor and evaluate other programmers and analysts
Basic Requirements :
- Bachelors Degree or minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of industry programming experience
- 5+ years of experience with PeopleSoft HCMS 9.x or newer, and PeopleTools 8.53 or higher
- 5+ years of programming experience in other languages5+ years of experience working with Oracle databases
- 5+ years of experience and demonstrated expertise with SQR, SQL, and PeopleTools and Application designer toolset (PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces)
- 5+ years of experience and demonstrated competency with Unix Shell Scripting and Windows Batch Programming
Preferred :
- 5+ years of experience in Experience with multilingual PeopleSoft functionality a plus
- Experience with Tidal Enterprise Scheduler a plus
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Administration desirable – Process Scheduler and Application Server configuration, WebLogic, Tuxedo, PIA, Integration Broker, performance tuning, environment refreshing, and the application of patches utilizing PUM in a Linux environment
- Experience working with onshore/offshore model a plus
- Retail background a plus
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
