IBM DataPower Gateway Overview
IBM® DataPower® Gateway is a purpose-built security and integration platform for mobile, cloud, application programming interface (API), web, service-oriented architecture (SOA) and business-to-business (B2B) workloads. • Total of 3 - 5 Years of experience in configuration and administration of IBM DataPower Appliances
• Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting services using XML Technologies and IBM Websphere DataPower.
• Well versed in the architecture, concepts of ESB and SOA. In-depth knowledge and expertise in XML, WSDL, SOAP, JMS, HTTP.
• Experience working with various IBM Webpshere DataPower services such as XML Firewall, Web service proxy, and Multi-Protocol Gateway.
• Experience in trouble shooting and debugging issues in IBM DataPower SOA appliances XML based web services through WebSphere Data Power Appliances
• Expertise in troubleshooting DataPower, channels, listeners, intercommunications (TCP/IP) and triggering.
• Experience in initializing IBM DataPower SOA appliances.
• Perform administrative tasks on IBM DataPower configuration, Interface design, development, maintenance and administrative activity
• Experience in design and configuration of DataPower objects
• Knowledge of General Security Concepts (Authentication, Authorization, Encryption, Digital signatures), PKI concepts, and SSL
• Experience with IBM DataPower product upgrade, migration, IBM Support packs and fix packs
• Experience in dealing with v3.8, v4.0, v5.0 and v6.0 IBM DataPower SOA appliance firm wares.
• Capabilities to troubleshoot and debug services using problem determination tools, logs, and DataPower probes provided and analyze packet traces whenever necessary
• Any experience with Layer7 is a plus
• Networking experience is a plus
• Experience with Web Services is a plus
• Strong experience in IT production support
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Sound communication skills to be able to interact with business stakeholders
