HL7 Interface developer with strong knowledge of health-coded vocabularies like LOINC and SNOMED.
Experience in Oracle programming and .Net programming.
This is an excellent contract opportunity for a results-oriented, highly detailed individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with frequently changing priorities and projects. This position requires a resource with working knowledge of HL7 application interface development and health-code vocabularies and messaging standards. Individual will be involved in the entire cycle of interface application development, including analysis, design/architecture, specification, coding, testing, implementation, and production support.
Key responsibilities
• Serves as subject matter expert for HL7 application interface development.
• Develops, tests and implements new solutions per standards and best-fit for particular data exchange.
• Designs new solutions and handles all aspects of the interface architecture process.
• Works under the direction of the Technical Team lead to ensure results are achieved and deadlines are met.
• Resolves problems and provides daily troubleshooting, analysis, and problem definition for production issues.
• Works with the BA/QA team and data exchange partners to validate and test all new development and exchanges.
• Documents and maintains change control records for all system changes.
