Iowa Collections and Reporting (ICAR) is seeking one senior IT developer with at least 8 years of experience in developing, testing, deploying and supporting applications in a web/SQL Server environment. ICAR primarily serves the Child Support Recovery Unit (CSRU) and is one of the bureaus under the DHS Divisions of Data Management.
This senior IT developer will function within a team of dedicated web developers. Responsibilities include:
1. Serve as a Technical lead on projects from concept through the post-implementation stage of the Software Development Life Cycle.
2. Serve as a Programmer/Developer on projects lead by other Technical resources
3. Work on New Development, Maintenance Projects, Testing, Requirements/Specifications creation, Problem Logs etc.,
Other required skills:
Ability to work in a team environment and experience with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to transform business requirements through functional/technical analysis into technical specifications and design;
Ability to build application programs based on technical specifications, test and implement systems
Ability to support the SDLC process through post-implementation Support.
Good verbal & written communication. Ability to logically analyze complex processes & programs.
Ability to understand business processes & to be customer focused. Experience working in both traditional and agile development environments.
Demonstrated experience developing complex transactional applications using role-based security management.
Demonstrated ability to perform development tasks in the above areas is required.
