- Create webpage layouts using HTML, CSS and JavaScript to produce optimal user experience
- Help build and define website documentation, including workflows, checklists and style guides
- Clean text and strip extraneous markup from documents using a variety of tools (hand-coding essential)
- Implement Google Analytics or other quick tracking mechanisms for gathering website statistics
- Design pages in a manner that pops and is relevant to the web; utilize knowledge of typography and color theory
- Create internal and external deliverables including conceptual diagrams, site maps, interaction flows, storyboards, schematics/wireframes, and detailed functional specifications
- Design, develop and implement new websites, landing pages and mobile applications.
- Enforce branding across multiple platforms by updating logos, skins, and look-and-feel across all web properties
- Spec out and present web pages with sketches and mockups
- Re-touch photos and optimize and resize images.
- Work with other website content providers to understand requirements, determine the best presentation of content for website and define user experience
- Provide expertise and training within the organization
- Maintain knowledge of evolving industry standards and best practices
- Maintain, improve, and update existing websites and applications as required.
- Create and maintain user website help documentation.
Experience Required:
- Passionate about all aspects of interactive design and a keen eye for details
- Responsible for the content layout, pixel perfect visual appearance and usability design
- Superior knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques (In-browser Design, Responsive Design, Grid Systems, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS and Sass. Javascript knowledge is a plus
- Adobe Creative Suite (advanced Photoshop and Illustrator skills are highly preferred)
- Proficient with Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Flash or After Effects
- Strong sketching/ideation skills
- Team player with strong leadership skills
- Roll-up-your-sleeves and get it done mentality
- Sharp-eye for concept and execution as well as production and business facets
- Exceptional communication skills as well as people management skills
- Experience as a UX & UI designer for mobile and web
- Experience solving complex UX challenges and creating wireframes
- Solid experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Understanding of design in terms of visual appeal and functionality and how it impacts business.
- Experience enforcing branding across multiple platforms.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in in graphic design, art, media, marketing or related or foreign Equivalent
