This position will provide senior level administration of the SCC’s SharePoint sites. Responsibilities will include architecture, design, support, configuration and development of sites.
Fundamental requirements:
-- Responsible for ensuring system availability and performance of the SharePoint system
-- Hands-on experience performing SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013 migration, planning, and execution
-- Mastery of SharePoint 2010/2013 fundamentals including out of the box web parts, lists, content types,
workflows, templates and master pages
-- Excellent understanding of SharePoint administration including management of service applications,
management of web applications and corresponding IIS components, site collection administration,
performance tuning, solution deployment, and backup/restore via Central Administration and PowerShell
-- Proficiency using SharePoint Designer and deploying solutions
-- Understanding of SharePoint search framework
-- Experience with SharePoint Branding (including customizing master pages, page layouts and templates, site
definitions and themes)
-- Develop, maintain, manage reports on the farm web, application, index, query and database servers in accordance with best practices. Develop and manage internal metrics and assist with initiatives to improve the quality of the SCC SharePoint platform.
-- Relational database and operating systems experience with MS SQL 2008/2012 database, integration, reporting and analytics solutions to be integrated with the SharePoint farm
-- Microsoft Visual Studio web programming
-- Microsoft SQL Server database maintenance, SharePoint integration, and SSRS report development
-- Experience administering user security in the SharePoint 2010 and/or 2013 environment, using Active Directory groups
-- Experience developing custom SharePoint web parts, SharePoint Designer workflow, and InfoPath form solutions

Responsibilities include:
-- Design, support, configuration, and development of the SCC’s SharePoint environments
-- Maintenance and administration of SharePoint services, including search, Content Type Hub, Business Connectivity Services, Secure Store and Excel Services
-- Development, configuration, and maintenance of document libraries, enterprise lists and site collections
-- Management of SharePoint end user accounts, permissions, access rights and storage allocations in accordance with SCC policies and best-practices regarding privacy and security
-- Support end users with all SharePoint related issues
-- Recommendation, planning, scheduling, and performing SharePoint software improvement and upgrades
-- Generation of SharePoint site statistics and reports as needed, using custom or packaged tools
-- Maintains and perform periodic audits of configuration standards.
