The Tester is a member of a team which plans, constructs, and executes product tests, system tests, unit tests, load tests, volume tests, network tests as well as works with others for release control processes.

The selected candidate will serve as a Tester 3 supporting ongoing PennDOT Mobile Application testing efforts, which support a variety of Business Units and Stakeholders throughout PennDOT.  This project requires an individual who can work independently, under tight testing timelines.  The selected candidate must possess excellent verbal/written communication skills.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in team environments following Agile/Sprint development methodologies.  On a daily basis, the selected candidate will participate in the following tasks:

-Provide hands-on mobile application testing services on iOS platform (Android, RIM, Symbian, Windows expertise preferred, but not required).
-Perform testing services in the following areas:
    -UI/UX Testing
    -Functional Testing
    -Regression Testing
    -Device Compatibility Testing
    -Usability Testing
-Utilize Jira/IBM Rational ClearQuest/JAZZ for issue tracking.
-Analyzes the functional requirements and designs Test Scenarios, Test cases with an updated    Requirements Traceability Matrix
-Document results of testing and report any defects in a clear and comprehensive manner. - Monitor and update bug reports as needed including bug closure report.
-Knowledge on Testing the app on Emulators is desirable
-Excellent verbal and written communication skill
-Ability to work independently and under tight testing timelines.
