Job Description-
Our IT Core Development department is searching for a Sr. Data Power Developer who will be responsible to design, develop, and maintain services on IBM Data Power appliances. Performs various integration patterns. security standards, best practices, administration and management of Data Power.
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop and maintain components
· Document all the applications.
· Support the full SDLC of Data power components like Proxy Services, Crypto Profiles, Multi protocol gateway, xsl transformations, rules, protocol transformations.
· Provide 3rd tier support for production systems.
· Mentor developers.
Required Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree required.
· 8 years of experience in application development.
· 4+ years of extensive experience in configuration and administration of IBM DataPower Appliances.
· Configuring certificates, encryption decryption – filed level message level.
· Develop and Troubleshoot message translation related issues while communicating with backend (JSON to SOAP / SOAP to JSON).
· Expertise in troubleshooting Data Power, channels, listeners, intercommunications (TCP/IP) and triggering.
· Experience in initializing/setup of IBM Data Power SOA appliances.
· Perform administrative tasks on IBM Data Power configuration, Interface design, development, maintenance and administrative activity.
· Experience in design and configuration of Data Power objects.
· Knowledge of general security concepts (Authentication, Authorization, Encryption, Digital signatures), PKI concepts, and TLS.
· Experience with IBM Data Power product upgrade, migration, IBM Support packs and fix packs.
· Experience in dealing with v3.8, v4.0, v5.0, v6.0 and v7.0 IBM Data Power SOA appliance firm wares.
· Good troubleshooting skills with overall knowledge on data power features/concepts.
· Experience working with SOAP/REST based Web Services.
· Performs application deployments to test, integration, and production environments per established change management procedures.
· Provides support in the configuring and troubleshooting solutions and developing hands-on solutions.
· Strong UNIX/LINUX experience.
· Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
· Actively work as a lead and take ownership of any production issues / new initiatives as needed.
· The candidate would also be expected to work with other architects/business partners/clients in a collaborative environment.
· The candidates should have a strong focus on IBM Data power and would require extensive knowledge of various integration patterns and security standards, best practices, hands-on experience with administration and management of Data power along withstrong XSLT development skills.
