This position provides Microsoft Windows server administration and support for enterprise-level services in the hosted environment. This environment hosts hundreds of physical and virtual servers and supports functions and business-critical services for executive branch agencies.
Responsibilities include
• Configuration, installation, and maintenance of enterprise Windows-based physical and virtual servers
• Configuration, installation, and maintenance of enterprise VMware-based virtual environment
• User account management for multiple state agencies in Active Directory.
• Set up folder structure and manage access controls (file security permissions) for customer agency file services.
• Support print server functions
• Problem resolution, and support for customers
• Recommend and implement system tuning, security and configuration changes
• Coordinate and perform installations, upgrades, migrations
• Adhere to defined incident/change management process
• Regular communication with other technical teams and business owners
• Work with customers to develop testing and implementation schedules as needed
• Maintain technical documentation to reflect changes to the environment.
