SQL Server DBA

The focus is SQL Server, but the candidate must have worked in  healthcare. 

That’s a must.  Optum is not a must but would be great to have.

Job Description:

• SQL server database administration including backups, upgrades, new setup, installations.
• Maintaining SQL scripts, batch scripts, Shell Scripting, secure file transfers, and application specific production jobs on Windows and Linux platforms across enterprise.
• Implementing Optum claims processing systems to new clients and performing upgrades for existing clients.
• Troubleshooting ICES/HSS related issues with Ingenix support team.
• Application support for MS SQL server, Oracle and IIS.
• Handling FTP client tools for File transfers; and managing daily and adhoc database backups using Symantec Backup Exec.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Optum experience desired.
• MS SQL Server experience.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced team environment.
