Work for Department of General Services in the Information Systems Services Division.
Develop Web Application for Division of Real Estate Services (DRES) for Non Administered Leases and Land Use Plans.
Create a web based application for Real-estate Services a division of the Virginia Department of General Services. This system will be used by other state agencies to manage their leases and land use plan submissions. This web based application will need to be tightly integrated with our new Integrates Workplace Management System (IWMS) though the use of RESTful web services.
Work with Division of Real Estate Services to refine business requirements.
Refine Web Application objectives by analyzing user requirements: envisioning system features and functionality.
Design and Develop Web Application using platform and tools used by Information Systems Services Division.
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
Create site layout/user interface.
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
Responsible for presenting at code review sessions.
Create software documentation.
