Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for Natera's Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Cloud based Data Analytics software platform
- Respond to incoming requests for service or incidents from software customers and drive informed and timely solution
- Receive, prioritize, and properly document issues
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis of product or environment issues. This may include analyzing log files, data and source code, as well as attempting to reproduce the problem
- Problem resolution will require basic knowledge of Java, ability to write code and necessitate the use of diagnostics tools
- Track and document all actions taken to address production issues and follow up with internal users or customers to ensure satisfactory resolution
- Interface with other groups within the company, especially lab operations, QA, and developers to drive product improvement efforts
- Build, maintain/improve existing technical support tools and procedures
- Provide product training to end users
- Identify and codify frequent issues into documented and/or scripted processes
- Provide guidance and support to new customers during integration phase
- Schedule to include one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Information Technology related field or equivalent
- Experience with Java language
- Hands on experience with Linux and command line shell scripting
- Hands on experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience with Groovy scripting language is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, especially for problem solving under pressure
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks independently
